Efficacy of PPIs in Upper GI Reflux
Laryngopharyngeal reflux is an inflammatory condition of the upper aerodigestive tract tissues caused by the direct and indirect effects of gastroesophageal reflux. PPIs are commonly prescribed in LPR.
A recent study evaluated the efficacy of PPI (morning single daily dose in fasting condition) for the treatment of LPR.
